Fawn Mckay

Fawn Brodie McKay born on September 15, 1915 was raised in Ogden Utah. Fawn McCay was born in Utah's Ogden in 1915 and raised by the Mormon church's founding family. Her literary geniuses and extraordinary expertise in research to compose an amazing, psychohistorical biography of Joseph Smith. It was published in 45, under the title, "No Man Knows My History". This title was inspired by the funeral sermon given by Joseph Smith who was the creator of the Church of Latter-Day Saints. His audience was shocked by his telling his audience: "You don't even know my name. It's been a long time since you've seen my feelings." My history is unknown to anyone. Truth is, I don't know. The 29-year-old wrote Fawn: Since the moment when he spoke, about three dozen writers have jumped on the gauntlet. The documents do not lack but they do contradict one other. Assembling these documents - by sifting through third-party and first-hand sources, fitting Mormons' tales of the past to those of non-Mormons into a true historical context - can be a challenge. This is both exciting and instructive. Such was the task to which Fawn Brodie devoted herself professionally. Thaddeus S. Stevens became immortalized through her works and the fruit of her research. The DevilDrives. The Story of Sir Richard Burton (1967) Thomas Jefferson. A Personal Historiography (1974) and posthumously Richard Nixon.
